I have a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44 FFP on an AR and have been exceptionally pleased with it. I think it's hard to beat for the money. Just wish I had gone MOA instead of MRAD (I still think in imperial measurements and it's easier to think ~1" @ 100yds = 1 MOA). I'll probably buy another one for this rifle, but in MOA.
