Satern 5r sticking/stuck live rounds

808, if it were mine I would have it reamed or rent a Manson reamer and do it yourself.

If it won’t shoot after that, send it back to satern with a note telling them where to stick it.

Here is the history best I can recall. Everyone feel free to add to or correct anything I get wrong.

Initially Bill Alexander kept the rights to 6.5 Grendel preventing other barrel makers from making it. This caused hard feelings with other barrel makers.

Satern and their company Liberty agreed to do a group buy with members of this forum. They were told they would be getting a 6.5 Grendel chamber. This was after it was released to other makers.

After delivery, some members found their barrels were short chambered. When contacting Satern/Liberty they were told to send it back and they would scrape the throat. I do recall the members had to pay shipping but I don’t recall if there was a charge for the scraping.

Only when their feet were to the fire did satern admit that it wasn’t a 6.5 Grendel chamber but one they designed.
