I guess when Reagan won 49 out of 50 States in the biggest landslide in history, ALL the states that relied on the Federal Government voted for him... LOL? What does winning states have to do with income tax payers, or those states major CITIES political demographics?? Are these states and their population magically 100% monolithically, Republican,...especially in the population dense cities?//?
Of these 15 states how many of their MAJOR cities are run by Democrats?

Michigan another swing state is magically listed as Red who runs Detroit, and who is their Gov.?
OH another swing state was some how RED, but who runs Cleveland and Cincinnati?

The best part of your article is the 1st sentence "No ranking like this is ever going to be perfect. Followed by...Some things you can definitely say, like where the states that have the highest per capita income or pay the most in taxes. No DUH...LOL!! Not once does it mention the number or percentage of taxpayers or their political demographics, probably for a very good reason...LOL!!!!!!!!
