I believe if you do not pay taxes or are exempt from paying taxes or receive subsidies you cannot vote. I also believe if you do not pay taxes or are exempt from paying taxes and or are subsidized you should not be able to make campaign contributions...If you want to make a a resounding impact and make the system take notice is to have everyone withhold their taxes

I'm in total agreement. I've often thought that eliminating payroll withholding of taxes would make fiscal conservative out of a lot of people. If people had to sit down and write checks to the feds and state every three months it would change minds.
