AR10 flat wire spring....TOO much????

Definitely getting a flat wire (debating between Tubbs and Strike Industries) but wondering if the AR10 will be better choice.

6.5 Grendel 18” barrel with RLGS. Suppressed with TB Ultra 7.

I’d like to keep lock time at a maximum but wondering if it’s too much.

I suppose I could always trim a few coils if it is.


I’m reading that the SI are not as long/strong as the Tubbs. Also some are saying they’re noisier.

Thoughts? Experience?
