My son used my Grendel from age 6 to 9 Its the perfect youth gun. The stock collapses. Etc. My gun is 16 and its the most accurate thing I shoot I hand load too. Ive got nosler BT 120s going half inch at 200. My suggestion build up a 16 gun. I also highly. I mean highly recommend getting the BOG death grip. My boy has shot countless deer from it in ground/box blinds with mY Grendel. His bolt gun now. And his crossbow It beats any other shooting tripod Ive ever owned!
