Hello new to site. Thinking of a grendel for whitetail hunting for my daughter. Probably 300 yds or less. Will need it to be portable so not to heavy. Question can i use my colt cr6920mp lower ? All my looking and i never seen a colt lower on any builds. I already ordered an aero precision m4e1upper to start my build. Barrel will be a good one but have to wait until after the holidays since thats where i plan on spending my money. I am thinking 16" but 18" max. From a big name precision maker. Not sure which yet. I will get dies as i handload. But will buy what i can as far as loaded rounds. And suggestions on 16 or 18 inch ? Will be dragging through the alders chasing deer and occasionally still hunting.
