Give you barrel a shot (pun intended), it might be a good one. It might prove fine for your needs, which you haven't stated at this point. The Grendel is a good hunting cartridge that is also known for its long-range accuracy. The thing is, if you want to shoot at distant targets (and hit them), you have a better chance with a higher-end barrel. Some people are able to find a load that their rifle likes quickly, but it is also possible to spend hundreds of dollars on ammo in the search. People are finding the same thing out with the 6.5 Creedmoor. The cartridge has the POTENTIAL to be accurate at long range, but a budget rifle is not always up to the task.
