The highest velocity usually come from CFE223, LeveRevolution and maybe Power Pro Varmint powders. Being ball powders they are not as stable in temperature changes. For less temperature sensitive powder in the 6.5 Grendel H4895, IMR8208XBR, AR Comp and Benchmark are popular. The 129 grain Nosler Accu Bond Long Range (ABLR) is very popular hunting bullet for the 6.5 Grendel because it expands down to 1300 FPS. H4895 works well with heavier bullets in the 6.5 Grendel and combined with the 129 grain Nosler ABLR might be the best combo out of a 12 6.5 Grendel. Forum members have successfully used 123 grain SST and 123 grain ELD-M out of 12 6.5 Grendel to take deer but these bullets may not be ideal at 350 yards out of a 12 barrel.
