Got a set of taller rings coming...you're right, the scope is kinda hard to get down to mounted there. Those rings came with it. Of course, the mount you pointed to is out of stock in 30mm.
The kit came with a really long (8 inches or so) Allen wrench. What's that for? Adjusting the gas block or something? It wasn't needed during assembly.
