A bigger reason besides the hoarding whenever politics waver is the fact that most manufacturing, distribution and retail stores were closed down for months during the "Initial Wave" of the pandemic. On reopening, retail store inventories dried up. The distributors stock dried up and the manufacturers, (and or Importers), can't keep up and still follow CDC guidelines for keeping their employees safe. And with the election looming, there is no let up on demand for everything that is gun related.
