Do you really think that many people are going nuts ordering parts to build ARC with all the plentiful varieties of ammo to buy for it?

For some reason, I think there is a metric poop ton more people assembling any other caliber but ARC who are buying stuff now. At home, not much else to do, etc.
Or, given corona times causing all sorts of slowdowns in parts productions, toolcraft the one who makes the most bolts used by other AR manufacturers, is swamped filling those contracts over others.
We have seen panic buying across the entire spectrum of essentials this past 3 months, and in the firearms world but ... if the BCGs are out of stock, it must be because of ARC!
Well, they have dried up in the last few weeks, after the ARC release. As somebody piecing together yet another 6.5G build (thanks for the barrel, BTW!) but not because of panic, I found Grendel bolts and full BCGs were fairly easy to find by even during the height of the Great Gun Rush of 2020. Thing is, there was probably never what I'd call a deep inventory of 6.5G parts, because it wasn't needed.
Still plenty of factory Grendel ammo out there, at about the same prices pre-plague, which leads me to believe the small but steady demand for Grendel bolts became larger with the ARC release and cleaned a lot of places out. And since the supply-side is still disrupted, this will probably continue for awhile.
