I've read various tests of using a 30 cal brake on a 6.5 and it appears that you would lose only 5% efficiency.
I just installed it a few days ago. The max length muzzle device the Magnetospeed maker recommends is 2.7" (the 4" WCI was actually hitting the chrony bayo). This chinese-made "Tacbro" is 2.75" so wish me luck.
I'm no so concerned with inefficient braking as opposed to POI shift...fingers crossed.
