My guess is that the round nose bullets can probably be pushed a little faster due to eating up less case capacity than I would assume a 140gr SP would. I never got around to loading any, but my QL data had me potentially pushing a Hornady 160gr RN to 2300 FPS while staying within 6.5G limits. From what I recall I should have only been able to push a 140 SP or SST to about 2200.
