Made up some loads using data that I got with the Lee dies for the Grendel. Because I have so much AA2015 and it is a kissing cousin to H322, I used the Lee H322 loading data for the 120gr jacketed bullet as a guide for using AA2015 recipes. I have used this powder before with the 112gr cast bullets. I settled on 22.0 gr of AA2015 behind the 120gr cast, poly coated bullet. The chrony said that these loads had a speed of 2200fps....extreme spread less than 50fps. I fired two three shot groups at 50yds. Both were under one inch. Interestingly, there was no leading with the poly coated bullets. Also, I am using necked down/fire formed 7.62x39 brass for my cast bullet loads. The smaller case capacity is a + for loading cast bullets. Need to explore this bullet more. As a reminder, my rifle is a "Rustic" American CZ527, 24" bbl, 1-8 twist. Will post more later.
