If the above mentioned hog had been shot with a 300 Win mag and the bullet did not hit a vital the results would be the same. Said hog had a hole completely through it but the bullet did not hit anything vital. Most would say that the 7x57 was not an elephant rifle but Bell killed 1000+ with one. He could brain shoot one from most any angle I once read. As Dirty Harry said, "A man has got to know his limitations."
