I have a BCA 18 inch barrel that will shoot 1.25 inch groups (strings of 3) with Hornady 123 gr black and SST.
It has 200 rounds down the tube and could get better with another hundred since it takes these barrels a lot of shots to break in.
It was my first Grendel Barrel. I have acquired a 20 inch Faxon Gunner barrel for my hunting rifle, a 20 inch Ballistics Advantage barrel that I am putting together to to try for small groups and a 12 inch Monster Group Buy Green Mountain barrel for a pistol for home protection and general fun since then. If the Ballistics Advantage barrel doesn't do what I want I will probably get a Lilja or Bartlein.
So you may start with a BCA barrel like a lot of us do, but you will probably wind up with several other brand barrels before too long.
And the BCA barrel is getting passed on to my oldest son since it shoots good enough for hunting.
