Are you talking about the Colt CM901? The whole point of the 5.56 insert was to allow mil spec 5.56 uppers to be placed on the CM901 lower. That was how I understood it anyway. I guess they could have changed something, but I doubt they would change much. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I'm kinda waiting on the CM901 to hit the market as well. One of them might follow me home...LOL

OP- I didn't vote because you didn't have an "other" option, but I'd build a .260 Remington on the AR platform instead of the Creedmore. If you never reload then I guess I'd pick the Creedmore. Cheap .260 brass would make me reload though.LOL

If they ever make a magazine that'll fit the 358 Gremlin then I'd pick it instead of the Socom or Beowulf, but then I'm weird.LOL I just can't stand the idea of a single stack mag in an AR.
