I am quite confident shooting my Grendel at 1000-1200 yards..of course, I have to know the trajectory, and adjust for wind, but that applies to any cartridge.
Same here. I've shot to 1180 yds with 123 SMKs with good results. I would not use it for hunting past 500-600 yds for small game, 400 for larger though. Coyotes- I'd poke them with a stick at 1200 yds if I could.
