Ok I think everyone including myself is failing to see your point because you just said the same exact thing I said.

You stated:

Something maybe most aren't thinking of when they suggest what kind of bullet to use for bear/lion/wolf/bobcat defense in the grendel.

I agreed except with bear, meaning black and Grizzly are a concern for bullet penetration, not just Grizzly.
