Landon7: I'll jump in and give you my opinion.
I have never owned a Precision Firearms upper or rifle so I don't have an opinion about their quality.
I assume you know the difference between the Grendel chamber and the LBC chamber but if not the SAAMI spec. chamber has a .300 neck and the LBC chamber has a .295 neck.
While this isn't much of a difference it is a difference.
When Hornady first came out with their Grendel ammo there were a lot of complaints from people with the .295 neck about them having problems with the Hornady Grendel ammo.
Since Hornady came out with their second run and subsequent runs these problems seem to have disappeared.
Hopefully it stays that way.
However, with Wolf coming out with low priced ammo sometime this year( hopefully) and this ammo being laquer coated from what I've read, I wonder if people with the tighter neck chambers are going to have problems all over again.
The Wolf ammo is being tested with the SAAMI spec. Grendel chamber and not the other chambers so until it comes out and someone tries it, we won't know what problems will come up.
For me anyways, I would rather have the SAAMI spec. chamber than take a chance on something else.
I've owned several AA Grendel rifles and uppers and have always been impressed with their quality and the willingness of Bill A. to be a stickler about quality and customer satisfaction.
I've also owned Les Baer rifles and uppers in the Grendel chamber so I'm not just an blind AA supporter.
Hopefully someone will post who has had personal knowledge of Precision Firearms so you can find out about their quality but even assuming they have great quality, I would still
personally go with AA for myself.
