I cut a piece of thick leather off a belt to protect the barrel.Then I hit it out with a large punch I made from an old Proto half-inch breaker bar from my mechanic days. It works without destroying anything .But,I like your way much better ,thank you. I have a worn out broom I can use.

I use a peice of industrial mop handle the really thick kind. Cut it square on both ends and get out my 4 pound sledge.

Few good wack's and the barrel is put and because it's wood it can't hurt anything in the upper are the barrel.

Pro tip, put some padding down for the barrel to land on and don't take you muzzle device off till after the barrel is out, helps protect the threads if you leave the muzzle device on.
