PSA upper might be a deal after all

I lap my AR upper receivers.But I?ve never bedded an AR barrel. What do you use? Loctite?

Bedding an AR is using something like mentioned, I use BLUE Lock tight, and spread it around the barrel extension so when you slip it into the upper frame it fills any gaps that may be between the extension and frame. This does away with the chance of any movement during firing. Always use something that will allow you to remove the barrel. That is the reason that I used BLUE Lock tight. You can put a wooden dowel through the action that his held in a vice up against the barrel extension and hit the dowel with a hammer to break the BLUE Lock tight loose to remover the barrel.
