I doubt Fury will be a household name. Nothing against the man or his company, but its a just another name in a crowded field of competition full of much bigger guys. Even the big guys are only household names in a small group of this country. Hornady probably would ship to my door if I ordered direct, but I have multiple sources to order from for less than what Hornady lists (or at least used to list at one time) on their website. The benefit of the boutique companies is that you can get more of what you want than from the big guys.
My .350 is a Ruger and it will most likely be replaced with a Savage. The Ruger is just too finicky with ammunition it will shoot at sub 1.5" groups at 100 yards. Most factory ammunition shoots at 2"+ at 100 yards. This is unacceptable for what the rifle is. My hand loads with resized .358s will shoot under 1", but its extra work involved in the reloading process. A .358-350 Legend would be a better option.
Im not a fan of using pistol bullets at rifle velocities for anything other than varmints. The 140 FTX is not designed for the velocities the .350 can achieve. Im guessing it will suffer the same issue the 250gr in the .450 BM does at close range impacts where it comes apart. I would rather have an exit hole than a grenade going off in the game I intend to eat.
