Sorry, I forgot to consider small manufactures that most people dont know about. I cant go to the store and buy Hawk or Fury bullets, but I can buy Speer, Hornady, Sierra, Barnes, Winchester, ect.
I feel that about 180gr is the usable upper limit for this cartridge. I have loaded some 200gr .358s resized to .356 and velocity was falling off quick compared to the 180gr loads. I dont see a 250gr getting much over about 1700 FPS if you stay within SAAMI limitations for pressure, and that might be pushing things quite a bit.
