Unfortunately the level of precision that justifies measuring from the ogive instead of the tip will not be realised when we compare each others readings. We are not using the same comparator. For this to work the internal diameters of the comparators need to be exactly the same, and they are not.

When sharing load information we are better off using base to tip - COAL.

What are you trying to achieve here? Without knowing our barrel maker or powder loads, what use is this info to you?
