I agree the trigger is not that important. Maybe if I was shooting LR competition. But I just shoot paper for fun. Rarely over 300 yards with 5.56. Will attempt to hit 2x4 cardboard at 800 to 1000 with the 6.5 Grendel now. But is my PSA 20 SS up to it? Getting out that far a light pull might help. But if the man is not doing his part it wont matter.
I put a ALG on my go to HD carbine. It is clean and less creep than a standard GI, but is it needed? No.
The man means more than the machine. Breath control, smooth finger in the right part of the finger, consistent cheek weld, and a solid optic matters more than a high $$$ trigger.
