I do enjoy the AR platform. I have built five of them in .223/5.56. As I am old and retired, it is what I enjoy doing. The 6.5 Grendel is a new one for me.
When I was going to school and later, the AR platform had not made an appearance. When it did, we called it the Mattel Toy.
There was a .22 shooting range on the Basement of the school, Rifles in the Pickup Trucks in the School parking lot, Shotguns, with ammo, in the Principal's Office, no one dreamed of the school shootings we have today. Or like the Vagas shooting. What happened to our Society, anyway?
I think that the AR is just an excuse for the Left to do their anti gun thing. If it was not for the nasty looking Black rifle, it would be something else. The Left, and particularly the UN, the UN is more Left than you realize, are after the principal that they will be the only ones with firearms. You cannot have a Socialist government with a people armed. Not in our economic, in dept to our eye balls, status.
We are not going to get out of this by the use of the Ballot box.

It is not the place nor is this the forum to post threads about social issues. Particularly when it comes to implying that a civil war is the only way out of the current situation.

If you have something to post about the 2A, start a new thread but it needs to contain factual information about the 2A.
