I’m taking it out for a barrel break in session this morning. Probably won’t get any serious testing done today. I do have five different loads worked up, with 3 shots each, using H335 and 120 gr Sierra Match HPBT.
According to Howa, I need to shoot 10 rounds, cleaning between each. Then 10 rounds, cleaning every 2 shots. I don’t know if you really need to do all this, but I’m not new to how’s break in and I have some good shooters. My howa 6.5 Creedmoor will do a 1 inch group, .5 moa , at 300. Not bad, for a $400 action.
