Not quite - he posted a link to a tangent story which mentions a Serbian Brigade receiving an issue of SCAR rifles in 5.56. Stna merely speculated, but without any dots to connect.

I recall reading an article that mentioned the Grendel would only be used in DMR rifles on Serbian service, with a possibility of a SAW later. I can’t recall where I read the article now.
