That’s correct. Take the O ring out. Some bolts you buy have the rubber insert as well. I don’t use those on a Grendel. With the better springs there’s no use.
ETA: as a disclaimer I’m not running rapid fire drills with my Grendel AR’s, or any full auto. If you do, you may want to keep the insert. I do run them in my 5.56 guns though.
