Good thinking going with Grendel over ar10. I unfortunately went AR10 and hated the bulk and weight. I only found Grendel in searching for alternatives to the ar10 that I wasn't happy with. Not a cost effective route but having had both certainly makes me appreciate the Grendel. You made the right choice.
I am sure someone can lend you the gauges. If you offer to PayPal the price while you possess them and then have that price refunded upon return you might also get more takers.
