The Grendel is here to stay for a couple simple reasons.
1. It fits into a small frame AR-15 receiver (and they are not going anywhere anytime soon).
2. The projectiles offered come in a variety of weights and configurations that allow for versatility. Much like the 5.56 has.
3. It has more a$$ than a 5.56 for sure. Most people want more a$$.
I don't think it will replace the .308 but, the 6.5 Creedmoor will.
