I took "Sticks" advice and loaded 10 rounds with 29,4gr and 0,2mm (0,007") jump.
This is the result with 10 shots of each over the Magnetospeed.
28,3gr:
AVG: 732 mps
SD: 3
ES: 14
HI: 739 mps
LO: 725 mps
29,4gr:
AVG: 761 mps
SD: 3
ES: 9
I had better result on ES/SD with other bullets and loads.
But I shot all 10 rounds on both loads on a target and it ended up in two big holes with one flyer on each loads.
There was big craters on the primers for the 29,4gr load, and this beeing a indicator for high pressure in my gun, I think I will look at lower loads. (Needs to remind myself that this is not a high speed caliber...
)
Will not go only on this speed data. I need to check how this bullet preforms on target and what groups I get.
Other Hornady bullets I´ve tested have looked good with 0,2mm (0,007") jump. Will test the jump next I think. I will go with the 28,3gr.
