MF'nLeadFarmer: Be careful not to equate an Upper or Rifle built by Les Baer himself in his shop to one using one of his barrels but assembled by someone else with other parts than Les's.
I currently own and have owned others in the past, uppers and rifles built by Les himself in his shop and they have proven very accurate for me.
When you start talking about just his barrel in someone elses build it could be a whole different situation.
The barrel will have his quality but who knows what kind of quality the total build will have.
I'm not familiar with that builder so it could be good or it could be bad and you won't know until after you have paid and received the product.
One of the reasons I purchase from places like Les Baer, Alexander Arms, etc. is because I want the extra layer of quality control I get from Les and Bill A. before my order leaves their shop. They tend to be very picky about the products that go out their doors because their name is on the line with each sale.
This would not be the same when buying from someone who is just an assembler of other peoples parts. Once again, it may be just fine and you would be happy with the rifle or upper but it also may turn out bad for you and then you're out the time and money you tried to save.
Either way you decide to go, good luck and good shooting.
