One change. Instead of 'do everything in your power', change to 'do everything you are allowed and authorized' to do.
Good luck proving cowardice. Almost impossible to prove no matter the situation.
I think it would be easier to get a charge of incompetence or negligence to stick than a charge of cowardice.
