4 years ago, Aero Precision bought Ballistic Advantage. The AP barrels are all BA barrels.

I've got one of the 18" SPR profile Grendel barrels, and so far, it's shooting sub-MOA. Right out of the box. I'll get the pics up soon on it.
AP also hasn't been selling their own stuff for decades. Not even one decade, yet. Around the 2010~2011 period, the only way to get an AP-manufactured set was to buy the Surplus Ammo & Arms (SAA) set. Before that, AP made sets for other manufactures, including Spike's Tactical, but they didn't start selling their own brand, as AP, until after that. AP branded uppers and lowers aren't a decade old yet, not in 2018. Few more years to go until it hits that mark.
