SEE ABOVE!!! that was mentioned by the OP. DB that is why I mentioned it. The original question has been answered you can not get anymore precise than that!! Let me explain in more detail just for you!! My post was meant that if a 16 can reach a grand then an 18 aint going to be missing much from a 22 for distance!! GEEZ! And yet another way to answer the question is In an everyday normal hunting situation you would never notice a difference between an 18 in Grendel and a 22 inch Grendel. Even at the range target practicing you would not notice a difference I do'nt believe. We only have ranges out to 3 to 500 yards and I have had my 18 inch Grendel to 700 down here along the coast with no problems!!
