Millett scopes work, at least for a while. I have a friend who has one on his Grendel and has had no issues for 4 years. BUT....there is a huge difference in glass quality between it and my Nikon, and I suspect that the glass isn't as good as your Redfield, if it is one of the Leupold built versions.
Save your pennies and buy a Vortex, you won't be disappointed in the Vortex.
