The Smith that put mine together uses CNC machinery and has the programs saved along with the extra tools he made for this conversion. He is setup now for duplicating this rifles barrel and the stockwork he did.
Thanks,the cheek piece is from a No4T with a filler to make up the small gap. I think the guys who made mine have done the same keeping the tooling requirements.
When I got mine added to my licence there was only 31 in the whole of the UK that was in 2012 so that might have changed. It is always a talking piece at any range I go to, so I hope I have converted some people in these parts.
I have taken her to 1000y and she did me proud. Out scoring other shooters using .308 in a howling gale.
I hope yours gives you as much enjoyment mine has done me... If and when I have to re-barrel her it will be with a slightly heavier barrel as she has a very light sporter profile at the moment.
