No, but does it matter? The lower really doesn't have any stresses on it, which is why some people can use polymer lowers. 6061 is more corrosion resistent, as well. BUT, if you want the ultimate in strength for an AR aluminum lower, then you want 7075, which has almost twice the tensile strength. (70,000 PSI vs 43,000)
And because the UPPER does have stresses, you want 7075.
