Heywood, I think you were referring to a dial caliper probably. Tackdriver, if you have a good drill set you might find one with the shank the size of the hole and be able to measure with your micrometer. Good luck.

Your right. For some reason I thought he ment caliper even though he wrote micrometer I thought he was trying to measure gas block set back instead of gas hole diameter. I don't know where I got that from, probably because that is the problem I see most often, it is also the problem I had.
