Why was an armed person allowed to enter the Robb Elementary School unchallenged?

I have to agree - Regaining the initiative gets harder as the clock ticks.

The Russians found this out the hard way in Beslan 2004. The school was taken by 31 terrorists and as the days dragged on they had time to mine the buildings and consolidate their position. Multiple authorities were on site; Spetznaz (Alpha and V), FSB (Omon) and the local militia. There was confusion and lack of coordination. There are reports the local militia pre-empted the assault by going in, tired of waiting. 300 hostages died on the third day including 180 kids.

In 2017 Australia MH128 was hijacked mid-air and returned to Melbourne. The lone hijacker was tackled by the passengers and cable-tied. On landing, the Police tactical responders (SOG) took two hours to decide to enter the aircraft while passengers were forced to sit in their seats with a subdued hijacker who had two taped devices with blinking lights he claimed were bombs. The police wanted to know more information and be in full control before entering the aircraft. The judge investigating later said he could not understand why they did not immediately get on that plane to empty it. He said the passengers are not 'props'. Very embarrassing and frankly incompetent - no predatory mindset.

There's a time and place to wait it out while planning a deliberate assault, like Neptune Spear (SEALs), Nimrod (SAS) and Thunderbolt (Israelis). But when it goes pear shaped from the start that's what emergency actions are for.

I’ve been referencing Beslan a bit lately, as well as the Paris attacks in 2015, the soldier that was beheaded in the UK in front of everyone on the street, and some other mass casualty attacks.

I can go down a list of nations with very strict laws on possession of arms, and many of them have experienced mass casualty events far worse than anything in the US except for 9/11.

Imagine the vacuum of power the Cartels would fill if even the US border States were treated like UK, Netherlands, Germany, or Russia.

There are already decades of CBP agents on Cartel payroll.

If you aren’t armed and trained to protect yourself in today’s world, you have no rights in the moment facing evil.

As crazy as this seems, I'm starting to wonder if there is not more truth to this than I first believed.. Stories are coming out about parents being stopped from entering the school to save their children while law enforcement did nothing..Stories of law enforcement going in to save their children, while leaving others to their horrible fate.. I know the school my wife works in is just as open and vulnerable as before they did their pretend lock down drills after the Newtown shooting.. The main concern is and always has been to focus on the gun ban narrative, not protecting schools. https://www.foxnews.com/live-news/uvalde...l-shooting https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/uva...ar-AAXLzkH

Whether they are manufactured crises or not, the attorneys who are our political elite class love using these events to push their agendas.

Spineless sacks of excrement that they are, none of them want to lose their Cush Congressional salaries, exemption from Obamacare/special for-life healthcare plans, insider trading loopholes, and seats of power, regardless of what letter they put next to their names.

These types of cockroaches lick their fingers and put them in the air to see which way the wind is blowing before they decide on what types of “reasonable gun control measures” they will support.

In reality, many of them get excited and enthusiastic whenever there is a mass killing because it allows them to be seen in the roles they are accustomed to when people have problems, then come to them to sort it out with judges until the plaintiff or defendants’ bank accounts are dried.

In Congress, the faucet of money is endless in their eyes, so they don’t care. The more problems that draw on forever, the better for them.

They don’t like people with any type of power, other than to do what they are told like sheep and keep voting for these rats.

After the last 2 years, I can absolutely see "a call from DC" coming in telling local police not to act.

The Uvalde school district has an extensive safety plan for protecting students from attack. Unfortunately, it was not in place at the Robb Elementary school on May 24, 2022. With no impediment in place, a mentally deranged individual entered the building, unchallenged, and carried out his heinous act. Compounding this nightmare were the questionable decisions made by the responding police departments.

The sequence of events, particularly the timing of the door being propped open and apparent police incompetence/cowardice, are leading some to hint if not outright speculate about conspiracy.

Kids at a nearby high school in Uvalde said they though it was just another normal Tuesday lock-down.

They frequently have these due to armed man-hunts for border-crossings and suspects at-large.

Quote:UVALDE, Texas — The school lockdowns across Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday didn’t strike many students as anything odd. In this small border town, they’re common as suspects try to evade authorities in high-speed chases.

“We just thought it was a normal Tuesday,” Victoria Phillips, a 17-year-old senior at Uvalde Classical Academy, told BuzzFeed News.

Occum's razor suggests it was just a door that was propped open to facilitate school business. Coupled with bureaucratic hesitancy on the part of the first responders, perhaps even a lack of proactive leadership. Speculating it was a deliberate higher conspiracy to further some ulterior agenda is the stuff of fiction.

Kudos to the BP guy who grabbed what was available (the barbershop shotgun) instead of the group of leo's who stood around "because they didn't have those riot shields" or whatever... when trouble erupts you take what you've got into the fight, not cry about what you don't have.
I wonder what kind of training they had, doesn't sound like much.
Even in our industry you train on scenarios where something you normally count on, is broken/missing/inoperative, so you learn to adjust or go contingency, and even innovate if necessary. The one thing you don't do is freeze or give up.

Which, since that is totally against the leftist agenda of driving chaos and fear by fomenting these actions, is why the libs will fight this tooth and nail.
After all, one of their "own" already tried to take out a SCOTUS justice!
But yes definitely, a common sense approach and long overdue.

by the way, all the elitist leftist federales like Pelosi, Schumer, the Bammster etc all have armed guards, plus they send their kids to schools with armed guards.
I don't see them clamoring to defund those or get rid of those!!!

Good for Oklahoma in getting their officers certified and teachers trained. Of course, there were several certified officers with active shooter training at Uvalde and the teachers had been trained as well. Arredondo, chief of the school district PD, showed up in the first few minutes of the attack. He had active shooter training as recently as last December. Of course, he showed up without a radio...because you know, he wanted both hands free to operate his gun. Uvalde's SWAT had toured all their schools a couple years prior to familiarize themselves with each facility.

All the training in the world is great until everyone screws up by the numbers.
