Hi out there looking forward to your wisdom and tips in this build. I have already got a lot of my parts and I will give a list of them . First my barrel is a 20" 5R 1-8 twist 8flute 920 Hbar Bartlein by PF with supper match carrier,bolt and low profile gas block. I have about three more weeks to wait for it.
Seekins billet upper and lower.
Vltor buffer tube.
Ares armor buffer spring.
Spikes ST-T2 buffer.
Geissele SSA trigger.
KNS trigger pins.
Battle Arms safety selector.
ATI grip.
What I need help with is a good sturdy fore arm ,butt stock and bipod.

Try Samson or Daniel or Midwest. All three are good.for a buttstock try the magpul UBR

Seekins, SLR Rifleworks great products at a fair price. Love your parts list so far, are you going to lap the upper? Seems most of use have/are doing this. Great easy way to make sure your upper is square.

A billet Seekins upper will not need to be lapped.

Gun Connection in Taylor Texas. Great guy is going to help me with this build. said if it needs laped he will do it . Match and polish the ramps and check head spase

If it does need lapped its a 5-10 min procedure and will only benefit you. I'm of the school that what's the harm to check since its so easy to do. Again looking forward to your final build

I used a Wilson Combat trim rail on mine and I really like it. You would need to use one of their gas blocks with it but they make adj and non-adj blocks that come with gas tubes installed. Here is a thread about what I did with my Trim Rail.

Thinking of using the new Geisgele M lock forearm ? Looks like it will fit my Seekins upper and looks good.

Here's one that may seem obvious. I bought my barrel with a headspaced bolt, therefore figured I just needed to buy a bolt carrier. When I went to put everything together, I didn't have a firing pin, firing pin retainer, or a bolt cam pin. Once again, the devil's in the details.
And I'll throw a plug in for Wilshire Guns in OKC. They sold me what I needed out of a BCG they had on hand the next day.

I have several ALG Defense M-Lok hand guards, they are really nice at any price. If you are not using a standard forged upper make sure it's standard dimensions at the point the gas tube goes into the upper. The hand guards have anti-rotation tabs that will not work with some of the beefy billet uppers.

Got grate news! My barrel is going to ship this week . I'm so excited I thought I would have to get some depends.. Now the problem is no one has a 15'' M-lok hand guard like I want in stock. My go to guy has a 15'' Daniel Defense Lite rail III but I do not know if its 1.08'' inside is to small for a .920 low profile gas block? and how much flex it will have?
