Why a 6.5 Grendel in a bolt action?

If CZ USA will make this in 6.5 Grendel I will take one today.

Second. Actually, I think I'd be happy with any manufacturer making a bolt grendel. I'm thinking about getting a savage rebarrel...

I did that when I built my .20 Grendel. It is straightforward.

If you start with a 7.62x39, you're good to go. If not, swapping the bolt head adds about an hour to the project.

Of course I spent about twenty times that time fretting about how to approach it! But then some of us are occasionally accused of overthinking issues!

If you already shoot 6.5 Grendel then a bolt action in it makes very good sense. Or if you just want a good light weight rifle in a single shot.

Just looking at the cartridge drawings and comparing them to the WSSM drawings , why wouldn't a Browning A Bolt work? I realize the bolt face would have to modified, but the magazine / clip in those rifles should be easily reworked as needed. Just throwing this out for consideration. I really like the A Bolt. Never cared for the WSSM s
