The 0.5 grain delta between loads works ok for larger capacity brass like 308 etc, but for the smaller capacity cases like Grendel you need ~1% case capacity deltas or slightly less, or ~0.3 gr. The 0.5 works out to be 1% of those larger cases.
Some harmonic nodes are approx 3% load apart, so a 0.5 gr jump in the grendel case will miss those and you won't know it. In fact you can miss two good nodes available in a typical bullet/powder combination for the Grr.

My cz 527 varmint grendel with its 25.4 inch barrel and long load mags gets a 129 ablr going just over 2600fps with starline brass,cci450 and h4895 and a coal length of 2.335 inches.
I'm in ballistic soup air of Louisiana and I have hit at 1200 yards with it and 1000 yards has become routine but I still have too be johhny on the spot with my wind calls.
The 129 ablr or the 130 Berger hybrid is the highest bc .264 cal bullet your going to beable too throw from the grendel case and make any kind if speed.
And your only going to get there by single loading are by having a mag setup that allows much longer then 2.300 coal length. Your also going to need more then a 20 inch barrel if you want too get the speeds up past 2450fps realistically and have long term brass life without pushing pressure too the intense extreme side.
Honestly your better off with a 123 eld or scenar then going with the big boys.
I have a 123 eld load for this same rifle that will out class the 129 ablr load. And it's a much easier load too get right and keep right. Not as much fussing at the load bench when compared too the extreme detail the 129 ablr load requires of my time too do.

CZ 527 with a 22 inch Obermeyer barrel 2.285 coal and CFE 223 my best load with the 129gr LRAB and 130 Berger Hybrid get 2520 IIRC. I do get better accuracy with the Berger but both are accurate enough for what I do. If going long past 600 yards I would go with the Berger, seems a little easier to tune.
Like anything you shoot the wind call is the toughest part of shooting long range.

Did my bi-monthly trip/drive into Sam's Club from way out in the country for some 'buying' to stock up. (Oh goodness, food prices are sky-rocketing... hope you boys are set.)
Anyway, also swung by Sportsman Warehouse and I struck GOLD.... For whatever reason, I have missed every dang powder buying opportunity for the past two years. I kid you not... no new powder since before COVID. Anyway, they had about a dozen 'one-pounders' on the shelf. Quickly I pulled up the Accurate website on my smartphone and began searching and scrolling..... BINGO!
One beautiful pound of Accurate 2460. Yep... .$41 out the door. UGH!
Anyway, looks like it may be a good powder for the Grendel.

Yes, it is a good powder for the Grendel. I bought eight pounds of it about fifteen years ago and have about seven pounds left. Had no problems with it but it wasn't any different than most of the ball powders for the Grendel.
In my opinion, 2520 is the most versatile ball powder for the Grendel. It has given me the highest velocities over the widest range of bullets than any other ball powder I have used with the Grendel.
