New to the 6.5 Grendel world (and new to AR platform). Looking forward to learning from the group. Usually reload/hunt with 7mm-08 (bolt action) but always wanted an AR and the 6.5 G appeared to be a solid caliber for what I do, which is hunt white tail/hogs 50-250 yards. Have several different powders (ARC, PPV, PP2000MR, R15, TAC) and bullets (Barnes 115, 120 and Nosler Partition 100, 125) to try out. Only reload I have done so far with the 6.5 is a with AR-Comp and Nosler BT 120. Found a node at 26.7 (2440) and one at 27.5 (2500) with ladder testing. Will be assessing grouping this weekend.

Welcome to the forum Scout175! Sounds like your getting square away. Speer has online reloading data for the Reloader-15 powder and 120 gold dot plus AR Comp.

Welcome to the horde sir. 120 gold dot and ar-comp is the money in every ar grendel I run it in.

Actually found some speer 120 gold dots from optics planet. Looking forward to trying them out in my AR.
