New reloading member from the SC coast - Scout175 - 09-22-2020 New to the 6.5 Grendel world (and new to AR platform). Looking forward to learning from the group. Usually reload/hunt with 7mm-08 (bolt action) but always wanted an AR and the 6.5 G appeared to be a solid caliber for what I do, which is hunt white tail/hogs 50-250 yards. Have several different powders (ARC, PPV, PP2000MR, R15, TAC) and bullets (Barnes 115, 120 and Nosler Partition 100, 125) to try out. Only reload I have done so far with the 6.5 is a with AR-Comp and Nosler BT 120. Found a node at 26.7 (2440) and one at 27.5 (2500) with ladder testing. Will be assessing grouping this weekend.
