Heard that dude! Man you also wanna know what is kind of ironic....Nick from JSE the place i bought this gun is the very one that told me about this website he told me go to here or beyond 556....didnt like that pages the first look i had of it so joined here...so so glad I did....you all as a community are amazing and very willing to helop and well the Mr A thing goes without saying since he got bashful the other day from all the praise you guys gave him....but all i can say is y'all are all right in my book for sure

Honestly! Dump the rail it is UGLY. Fit a Mk10 or a Samson EX9 hand guard and then either an A2 or a BWA Xcomp. 9/16-24 RH.

i lie the looks of the bwa xcomp i think i may order that tomorrow... i will sure look into the rail thing i bought this stupid thing on a whim and now im paying for it obviously! but i really do super appreciate the time and effort (and barrel) you put into this for me....it really speaks for you and the company you have behind you ...from one businessman to another ...Thank You....Thank You very much...

so went to local gun show hoping to find muzzle device to no luck....
so after re-reading this whole post, at one point a poster said that having the old barrel being 1/2-28 that accuracy may not be up to par so i am hoping this new set up should be more accurate? and i think i have settled on the WCI brake...any comments for that and should i get rid of the heavy buffer i spent a hundred bux on and leave the gun set up alone? sure hate to have that money in one of those things to sit around the house

Keep the buffer in it. It should further help to reduce any recoil. No reason to take it out. Well, that is unless you have problems with short stroking. I doubt you will though.
Oh, you might not like the wci if you shoot from the prone. While it works super for taking recoil away, it can kick up a lot of dirt. It's loud too.

i will never shoot from prone unless i accidentally fall out of my treeestand and need to shoot at one running away HA itll be used at range (home) not a public and hunting so i am not worried about noise i think itll look BA

Let us start simple and first make sure that the gun functions, or we get to return to the origin. Shoot the gun as we returned it and do not change a bunch of stuff. When you are happy that it works, then change the rail and add the brake. Leave the guts alone until you have a feel for how the gun functions.
WCI is a great brake but is long and adds length to he weapon. I like them for barrels like a 24"

i was waiting to shoot the gun to put that stuff on as i cant put scope back on until then. i suppose you're right, i may get to shoot it today. i was thinking the extra length would look good on the shorty of a gun i have

hill.brandonj: WCI also makes a Titanium version of their brake which would help with the weight. They are more expensive of course.

Thanks man. Saw that. Weight not an issue though. What I am curious about. I saw once on here a guy had a break tapered down to fit flush at barrel. Wonder if that is possible with what I bought

Hooooray! Shot the gun today. Just as AA returned o me. Wasn't even really aiming so no word on accuracy. New troy vtac rail this week and the wci brake going on. Shot nine rounds without hiccup and then screwed brake on. Three more rounds. No problem. Man I am proud now I tell ya. Now let the fun begin boys !!!! Thank you mr A
