Have not really dug into the gun yet but the immediate thing that stands out is an 18" barrel on a carbine gas system. This is extremely unbalanced regardless of port size. Extension is probably off on dimensions. Upper is Cardinal but I do not know who cut it, anodize looks good but no internal PTFE. Rail is a rail but I need to dig under this to see how the barrel nut is set up. Your gas tube is leaking from the block and hitting the gas key. The gas key is well staked with piss poor screws. Does not look to be chrome lined.
Initial look at the lower, hate the acuwedge and your trigger groups is under sprung. Going to pull the recoils spring and check coil count, free length and K value. Need to check alignment of the buffer tube to the center axis.

So in other words this thing is a POS. Or it can be worked with? I'd be inclined to think the alignment thing is off that upper and lower both work without trouble but independently from each other.

Not so hasty. The gas balance is bad but the rest needs looking at and maybe some massaging. The parts need to be checked but that does not make them bad, it is just the process of working through everything.

Ok, so far, the lower looks good, nothing out of the ordinary. Bit embellished for my tastes but mechanically ok. Upper is straight. The gas block was crooked but it did mitigate the giant gas port (0.094") set at carbine length on an 18" barrel. Muzzle is threaded 1/2-28.
Do not own a drill that will reduce the size of the port so this barrel, with the port position as well, is done.
Minimum now would be a barrel, gas block and bolt. I might get by with the existing bolt but an extractor is in order.
